Obremski/Works' Dance Film In-Visible has been selected to be screened at the Finding Compassion Film Festival on June 8th.
This inaugural full evening season at Arts on Site will include the electrifyingly fierce "Light-Print", powerfully quiet "In-Visible", and the world premiere of "GAMAN", all works by Obremski/Works's award-winning Founder/Director/Choreographer Jesse Obremski. In addition, Obremski/Works 2024 VOYAGER Fellow Hoyori Maruo will showcase a world premiere as well. The works will be performed by an incredibly exciting, deeply grounded, and breathtakingly colorful group of artists of AAPI descent, an artist of indigenous descent, and international artists from Australia, Taiwan, and Japan.

Obremski/Works is proud to continue and expand on both of our annual fellowships: The VISION Fellowship and The VOYAGER Fellowship.
The VISION Fellowship emerges from the need to support developing AAPI artists, in collegiate settings, with support to immerse themself within the field and work being presented. This 2024 cycle, Obremski/Works is excited to expand our program to accept applications from across The United States and award two VISION Fellows.
The VOYAGER Fellowship stems from deep empathy for those who go through the VISA process and work in The United States. This fellowship is geared toward supporting the cultural sharing and diversity of our arts field in New York with international artists to the United States. The Fellow must be applying for their artist's VISA (OPT, O-1b VISAs, and others included) in 2024 in which the $1,000 financial reimbursement is geared towards. For the 2024 cycle, Obremski/Works will be awarding The Voyager Fellowship to one artist.
